First Business Premises

After almost 2 years trading Weirfire Web Designers has made the decision to get its own premises to work from. The unit is situated in a business park in Larne called LEDCOM industrial estate. Weight Loss Winner

And the weight loss winner is Bazkaz. I would say he is the rightful winner as he did the most consistant exercise. If everyone who said they'd donate prizes could PM Bazkaz that would be great. Weight Loss - FINAL

3 days till the final day and the 4 contestants are getting their sharpest knives ready to cut off body parts in order to lose as much weight as possible. Who has done the most exercise? Who has cut down the most food? Who has walked instead of taking the car for a 2 minute drive? .... not me! Final weighing will take place on Christmas Eve. I will expect final weights to be reported back here by Wednesday 28th. I'm leaving it so late as I won't have any access to a computer until then so I can hardly expect you guys to report your weight when I wont be able to lol. Good luck guys. The winner should be obvious to us all already lol.

Weight Loss - Week 7

I'm being lazy this week and letting Bazkaz's comment be week 7s blog. Week 7 Update. Well I found out last night that I'm supposed to be weighing myself in the morning just after I wake up and take a trip to the WC. This helps account for some of the fluxuations I've been seeing. So as of 12/12 I'm down 10 pounds from my starting weight. Did a lot of walking while carrying heavy things yesterday... I was Christmas shopping at the mall. Those bags plus pushing my daughter around all that time was a good workout. Hehe. By Bazkaz

Weight Loss - week 6

We've kind of skipped out a few weeks mainly because I've had the flu but becuase of this stinking illness I've managed to lose a few pounds ;) How is everyone else getting on? I reckon I've got 2 or 3 Christmas meals between now and Christmas but I have a feeling you guys might have a bit more. I still haven't been out for a run yet lol.

Weight Loss - Week 3

Weirfire - Had mother and aunt over for the weekend and ate out too much. Those Pizza Hut pizzas really went for the weight and after stuffing my face I am now 1lb heavier than when I started the competion.... oops Bazkaz - Has admitted to having lost a fair bit of weight although recently put a bit back on again. Anime Babe - Rumoured to still be snacking out on chocolate criossants but has been very quiet of late signalling a possible comeback due to exercising rather than posting on the forums. Palespyder - Probably the odds on favourite to win, through actually eating less and exercising although word has it this week he is off to Vegas to get drunk silly! (That's not going to help your weight fella :) ) All in all we are all sucking at this competition and I think I could actually win by just getting up and doing some exercise. Victory here we come 8D

It is now a race against time to record their memories of an event so many nations vowed never to forget. World War One is soon to cease to be an event in living memory. Of the millions of men who fought for Britain, just 10 survive. What you didn't know about the speed cameras

I just got this in an email so I'm only trusting it so far.... "Did you know that every time your car goes past a speed camera, even 1mph over the set limit it is registered and put on a database? You get a ticket only if you are way over the limit or, (this is the bit that we didn't know) if you receive over 20 near misses, you will be classed as a serial offender and get a ticket the next time you go just over the limit. This is why you hear of people being done for 34mph in a 30 limit area whilst others doing 39 do not. Following the Government 's freedom of information act you can now get access to speed camera offences registered in the last 12 months. You can check what has been registered against your vehicle at the following address http://www.e-database.co.uk You will be asked for a password but just click on the "need a password" Link and you will be given one for future use. If there is any data on your vehicle you can click on the camera window to see a copy of the photograph." I'm a little cynical about it as the web address is not a gov address and the website shows up with service unavailable.

Weight Loss - Week 2

After the first week of the competition, weirfire has done about 1 hour of exercise and it was just walking. Oh dear it's not looking good. Rumours have it that palespyder has cut down the food intake by 2/3 and has been regularly exercising (regularly, as in every day!!!). Other reports tell us that a certain competitor has let loose on a whole 12 pack of chocolcate criossants. Any know who that was?? We have yet to hear anything from our surprise late entry Bazkaz. Perhaps he has cut off his arms and legs so can no longer use his computer. You can't beat those tactics!!!

Get skinny competition under way

The contestants in the weight loss competition are anime babe - 176.6 lbs bazkaz - 177 lbs weirfire - 187.6 lbs palespyder - 274 lbs I was reading this thing in one of these fitness magazines that with just 35 calories and 40 percent of your daily vitamin C apiece--plus a bounty of cancer fighting lycopene in every bite--tomatoes are one of the best vegetables you can eat. That sucks considering I dont like tomatoes! If you dont mind letting the competition know what you're up to, give us some ideas about what you're doing in your efforts to win the competition.

Execution Hoax

The rumours going around about the missionary Ferdie Flores has thankfully been a hoax. I received this comment today under the previous blog. UPDATENovember 1, 2005As of this morning we had received dozens of e-mails and phone calls from several countries from many concerned parties requesting information concerning rumors about the impending execution of Bro. Ferdie Flores. Apparently the information is circulating via e-mail and SMS. I've contacted a source close to Bro. Flores regarding those rumors. That source has responded as follows: "The information you have received is not correct. That information has been going all over the Philippines and even to the States the last couple of days. Actually Ferdie and his family have experienced quite a bit of persecution recently instigated by the Roman Catholic Church. Several threats have been made by priests, but there has not been any physical harm done to Ferdie as of yet. Although last week a mob of about 250 people did surround Ferdie with stones, sticks, and machetes, but the Lord intervened and the crowd was dispersed without incident. As of now things are calm, but could erupt at any time. Ferdie has requested much prayer. But, he was never arrested and was never scheduled for execution as was reported. Hopefully this will clear things up for you. Thank you for writing."

There are reports that Christian missionary, Ferdie Flores, in East Timor is to be executed today by beating. Ferdie Flores and his family arrived in East Timor in April 21, 2001. With his wife and two young daughters, he is presently living in the capital city of Dili, with a population of approximately 200,000. There is very limited information on this particular case but it comes a day after 3 Christian High School girls were beheaded and another seriously injured, at a school in Indonesia. There is around 8 weeks until Christmas and many of you will be reading this having spent 95%+ of your time this week sitting in your chair looking at this very screen. Do you want to take a look down a second to that mound that used to be your flat stomache.

Time to get fit

I've been sitting here working away for the last 2 years and have noticed that I can no longer fit into my size 32 waist trousers any more. It's probably the worst time for it but I'm going to start getting up early and going for a run in the morning. I'm still going to eat the same amount and I'll record both my weight and my waist size here each week and let you know of my progress. If anyone else wants to join in feel free to post your results in the comments. :-) I reckon I'll start on Monday because I don't actually own any scales yet and won't be down the street until Saturday. I may pick up a pedometer to help me track my steps.

The thousand dollar thread

What started as a practical joke played at the expense of myself by other members at Digital Point Forums has turned into a prize filled aggressive competition in which the winner walks away with over $1000USD worth of prizes. The thread which was started by myself was about the reputation system which has become a voodoo subject at Digital Point. I quickly realised my mistake and wanted the thread to close. Much to my discomfort other members starting donating prizes for the last person who posts on the thread with a 24 hour gap. Now the members are aggressively fighting for the prize which only results in the thread growing bigger and bigger and bigger....... Will you be the lucky poster?

Well I've finally got a few digital images of my wedding so I figured I'd start a blog to post them online :)

I'm the 1 in the kilt ;)

This was our first dance which was to the song Shania Twains "You're still the one"

This was the road up to the big house where all the guests had tea or coffee while we were exercising our face muscles. Fixing Graces dress is her sister Jen.

We had our reception at a national trust centre where there were huge gardens all around the big house and restaraunt area.

As you can see we had fantastic weather as well which made the day all the better (and hot)

I think it must have been the camera of the person that took the inside pictures because it actually was a lot brighter than this.

If you look closely you can see the miniture version of Grace and me on the cake. The little clay models even had my spikey hair!!!

This is a picture of 2 of my bridesmaids, I had 3 but havent a pic of them altogether. (These obivously arent the professional pics)

The one on the right is my big sis jen (Chief Bridesmaid) the one on the left is my cousin Ashley and her daughter Amy-Lee in pink.

The 2 little flowergirls are Laura (left) and Jude (right) they are both Stephens cousins. Cute!

Again the girl on the left is Ashley. The bridesmaid on the right is my cousin Cheryl.Don't they both look pretty!

The bridesmaids where a Royal Blue colour which matched really well with the Royal Blue kilts. Our wedding favours for females was a little white handbag with a blue flower on it with mints inside. The men had little blue top hats with mints inside!

All our flowers were white calla lillies. The bridesmaids flowers had blue thistles in them to compliment the dresses, and mine had some white roses in through it.

This is my mum Liz, and my dad Jack. Both looked stunning!

Mum was really beautiful in her outfit, and dad was very handsome in his kilt.

I was really proud of them both :-)

You guessed it, its the Mother and Father of the Groom!

Stephens mum is called Ann and his dad is called Rob.

Ann looked really stunning in her lovely mint outfit and Rob (who really didnt want to wear a kilt in the first place) looked very handsome!

Pity we dont have a pic of the inside of the house yet. Beautiful red carpets throughout, piano, dinning furniture, snooker table and grand fire place.
